When Karl started his Kelp Monthly label he was sticking true to the name and releasing an album a month! He asked if I wanted to do an issue and we came up with covering each other's songs. I spent about a month recording in a basement
in Portland reaching back in his catalog. My band at the time helped out on his Halloween song "Jack". We were able to do a collaboration on "Loneliness" when I still lived in Anacortes, which we wrote together years before on Orcas Island. Thanks Ciel, Cali, and Dave for getting into this too.
